Serving men of all ages, and their partners, through a program of support before, during and after diagnosis.

Darrell Fulford is a native of Plymouth. On leaving Tamar High School at age sixteen he undertook a five year apprenticeship as an engineer at Her Majesty's Dockyard, Devonport, Plymouth. On leaving he became a design engineer in London for four years. He returned to Plymouth where he joined the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary as a Police Officer.

His carreer as a police officer spanned thirty one years where he served first in Plymouth followed by a move to Torbay on promotion. Further promotion followed by service again in Plymouth and later Force Headquarters at Exeter. His final two years were spent at the National Police College, Bramshill in Hampshire.




Darrell Fulford - Trustee

Darrell is married and has three sons and a step-daughter. Since retirement he has followed his main hobby of folk and country music playing in ceilidh bands around the South Devon area and raising funds for local charities. With his wife Helen he has also been a keen participant of ballroom dancing.


As well as treasurer of TPSA he is a member of the Torbay Cancer User Group at Torbay Hospital and a fund raiser for Cancer Lifeline South West, a charity providing free breaks for cancer patients and their carers.
